Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) is a naturally occurring fatty acid that has been clinically proven to block the process of converting excess fat in your food to being stored as body fat. There are over 35 clinical medical research studies that have proven that it reduces body fat.
Ideally, CLA is best taken via the foods you eat. However, agriculture practices today have drastically reduced the amount of CLA found in dairy and beef. The best type of food to obtain CLA from is certified organic, 100% grass-fed beef and cheese. Unfortunately, there is not enough CLA found even in the highest quality meat and dairy foods.
Think about it this way…you would need to consume 7 lbs of organic, grass-fed beef, 4 gallons of organic, grass-fed ice cream or 4 gallons of organic, grass-fed whole milk in order to get all of your CLA needs through food.
